“ Saturday was our first time eating there and we will definitely be back! Jen was fantastic and had a great personality! We were Jen’s only table outside (we brought our dog!) yet we were very well taken care of. Thank you, Jen! ”
“ Better than expected! Very tasty BBQ with great service. My wife and I came in on a Wednesday around 5:45. I asked if they had any drink specials and the waitress said that they didn’t even have a drink menu yet, so no. I didn’t want to order a drink with no idea of how much it would cost, so we just went with waters. She did say they would have happy hour specials soon though. I ordered a half rack of baby back ribs with two sides and garlic bread for 18. They have a lot of great options for sides – I got fried pickle spears and jalapeno mac bites. My wife got the spicy steak sandwich for 16 which included a 6 oz filet mignon and jalapenos on a sandwich with a side (she got sweet potato fries) for 16. Everything was delicious, including the BBQ sauce options. We didn’t get dessert but their dessert options sounded good, especially the fried cheesecake. Who I assume were the owners came around to make sure we enjoyed everything, which was nice. The one thing that would have been nice to have would be wet wipes, since I got ribs and my hands were sticky when I was done. The waitress made sure we had enough napkins, at least. As we were leaving, it looked like a band was setting up to play some live music. I have no idea how often they have that. We never made it to Circa Pub & Grill which was in this space before, so I can’t compare how much the interior changed, but it has a nice ambiance. We have been looking for a good BBQ place in Des Peres ever since Rib City closed and I think we have found our new go-to. I’ll certainly keep an eye out for more details on happy hour and live music. ”
“ Our first visit tonight, it won't be our last. My wife had the shrimp platter with fried pickles and onion rings. I had the Big Beef Daddy burger with jalapeno mac n cheese bites. The room was packed when we arrived (7pm on a Saturday) and we only had to wait 10 minutes. Everything about the place, the food, service, atmosphere (including live band) was exceptional. Big portions, great flavors. Can't wait to come back and work my way through the menu. This big fat guy is happily bringing half my dinner home for tomorrow's lunch. ”
“ This location has had half a dozen things in it since I've lived here in 15 years, but I hope this one stays. The food is very good. Local selection for you beer drinkers. Live music in Wed and Saturdays, and it gets packed on those evenings. There's 4 types of sauces, and all dressings, and rubs are made in house. ”
“ Went here for the first time as of August 2023, since they had a now open sign up. The appetizers of Toasted Ravioli and Pickle Spears definitely felt like they were made in house! The T Rav was made with wontons, for a good crispness. Hubby said that the fried pickles were some of the better ones he tried around here! The chicken salad had a nice amount of smoked, warm chicken, while the chicken parmesan was tender and juicy. The buttered red potatoes had a nice toasted edge to them. The baked beans had a sweetness with some of their bbq meat stirred in. The toasted bread had a bit too much butter and garlic, so if you are sensitive to those, be wary of them. It did have good flavor though! Overall, a tasty place with sports on the TV and live music occasionally. Next time I'll try out the pulled pork! ”
“ Good brisket here. Rings are solid. My girlfriend likes the French onion soup and she had the Mayfair salad. Beer selection is pretty good. Service is friendly and the servers there have been there a while, so they know their stuff. Plenty of TVs and a bar area. Also a nice outdoor area that is dog friendly. ”
“ My fish sandwich and fries were great, the others in the group all got the brisket burger and would definitely order again. The food was served quickly. Our waitress, Michelle was awesome, an example for all wait staff. There was live band on our visit, the place has great acoustics. You will regret not vsiting. ”
